A couple recommendations for using the parentage search on the RHS site.
The database only lists each cross in the original order as it was registered so you won't find B x A if it was first registered as A x B. Always try the other way if the first comes up with nothing.
In most cases, leave the genus blank and enter only the grex or species names. So many species and hybrids have changed genus, and if you enter one the RHS does not currently recognize it comes up blank. You can come up with several matches if the names exist in multiple genera, but sorting that out is usually easy.
Any error in spelling will give you nothing, or the wrong thing, so be careful. Partial words are acceptable but you may have to work through partial matches.
