you can recreate any registered cross; you would have to sell the seedlings either under the registered name or as NOids. You can sell seedlings as your cultivar though - for example E. Lorraine Smith var Liana. The cultivar name is not registered.

"var" is used for natural varieties of species not cultivars. For cultivars you simply specify the cultivar name after the hybrid name in single quotes.

Dan ~ Thank you for the clarification. There have been so many awesome crosses that you just can't find anymore. It would be fun to recreate one and perhaps improve on it.

I am just giving an update on the seed sowing. I have two test tubes and eleven vials. The two test tubes and six vials have pseudocorms in them so I am pleased with the results but the other five vials still look promising as some of the seeds are swollen and the vials are not contaminated.

Go me! But couldn't do it without you guys either.
