Kim hey I meant to reply to you but I thought I'd wait 160 years to do that first. Then I got bored waiting.

While I wait I will show an update of the pod

It's also been registered now Phalaenopsis KTC Khao Khitchakut-corningiana

Good news everyone my pod has reached the stage of being harvestable. I need to get round to making the media. Hopefully this week and I'll try my luck growing the seeds.

Such a trooper this plant.

I want to add that I did look into flasking services. I could get this pod grown out, get a guaranteed 100 plants grown into seedlings for me for £120 and that seems good value but I won't learn from it and in future I can save a bit if I can do it myself.

I'm hoping it's not the wrong decision. I would kick myself if they don't make it but at least then I will know I will need to rely on a lab in future.

seed growing cupboard is set up:

Have you gotten all the necessary materials for seed sowing? Sterile location/container, media, flasks, etc?
