Will the bud rot?
 

I didn't notice that one of the paphs I received has a little bit of rot in it. The part that is rotting is that small leaf covering the bud. I removed the rotting part(it wasn't that easy) and padded a bit of cinnamon. I am worried that the bud might rot or blast. Will the bud continue growing even if I removed the leaf?
