Tipularia Discolor (cranefly orchid)
 

Just found these cute little cranefly orchids growing by the creek in my own backyard! Nice little surprise.

Be sure to go back in mid-summer to see them in bloom. The flowers usually open up in the later half of July in my area and it's magical how they capture the speckled forest light.
