Fragrance of neutral burnt candle wax (This is a first blooming so I expect this will improve)

The bud got caught in the growth, so it is a bit mangled. We will see how it does next time.

compared to the photo on the vendor's website it is very subdued. Not what I expected but pleasing nonetheless.

What a nice one! Burnt candle wax...at least that is better than the expected fragrance of my Bulbophyllum carunculatum. :)

Nice little pastel color. I have ones get stuck some times also. Four inches, nice size.

Way better smelling than dead things and poop haha. it does smell better than it sounds candle wax was the best thing I could compare it to.

I just bought one of these! It really does have a pretty bloom and I am hoping that the fragrance will be a little better than burnt candle wax. :)

Color development can be greatly affected by cultural conditions, particularly temperature and light level while the buds are developing. Reds, for example, are greatly enhanced in cool, bright conditions.
