Stephanotis floribunda seedlings sprouting

At my mom's house in southern California I planted Stephanotis floribunda and two different Mandevillas on her gazebo. The Stephanotis made a seed pod last fall. The seedlings are sprouting. It would sure be neat if these are hybrids between Stephanotis and Mandevilla!

Stephanotis and Mandevilla are in the dogbane family, Apocynaceae. Well-known plants in this family include the common oleander, Nerium; Plumeria; and the desert rose, Adenium. Stephanotis floribunda is native to Madagascar. The fragrant white flowers are often used in bridal bouquets, and as lei flowers in Hawaii.

Stephanotis sometimes set seed, which is only viable for a few months. In common with most Apocynaceae, viable seed yields nearly 100% germination.

I've found that if you crop the photo slightly (even the smallest smidge), it will appear upright. At least this works with photos taken on iPhone that won't appear correctly. :)
