The color looks good and the number of blooms is good but what's up with the dents in the pouches on several of the blooms?

It's a first blooming and there are only two pouched affected. I'm hoping next years blooming will eradicate the problem.I tried to push the indentation out with a cotton bud but the indentation couldn't be removed.
Have you any ideas why this could happen??

Sorry, Ed, I haven't grown parishii in quite a while. I also had one with seven blooms that took " Best of Show" in Toronto many years ago. At the time I was growing under lights. Hopefully yours will straighten itself out on the next blooming.

I've grown a few parishiis and bloomed the 'Jeannie' AM/AOS division few years back. I notice that in first time blooms this occurs due to so many buds growing and nutrients are distributed unevenly ... If you slow down the growth in slightly more shade it might help. Will also deepend the color of the burgundy petals. Other factors may be the chemicals used in the treatment during bud formation and humidity levels. Well done to coax them to bloom. Not easy!!
