Dendrobium cerinum
 

I got this one last year from a friend at SEPOS. It was in bloom then with MUCH smaller flowers! I'm super happy with this bloom and I hope the fragrance starts soon! I'm proud of blooming this because I had a pretty hard time finding concrete cultural information so I had to use my "orchid instincts" to try and grow it- guess it worked!

Quay, you have a very generous friend! This is a pretty flower. Is it fragrant? How large is this plant?

I think it originally came from Ten Shin. It hasn't developed it's fragrance yet, but I remember it smelled nice when I got it, so I'm thinking the fragrance will appear soon. To give you perspective, the pot is a 1" pot ad the whole thing is maybe 6" tall and you can see how big the flowers are compared to the canes!
