This is a very old cross and the blooms always come in pairs :) A treasured gift from a good friend :D

That's a gorgeous flower! Wish I had more room :scratchhead:

A classic that I really love. Nice, Susanne.

I believe this plant is actually BC Daffodil = Brassavola glauca x C. aurantiaca. BLC Daffodil is a more complex hybrid with B. digbyana in the background.
Of course, the new name for BC Daffodil is Ryn Daffodil (Ryncholaelia glauca x Guarianthe aurantiaca) to confuse the matter even further! |
Bill, you are absolutely right! :blushing:
That'll teach me to not change the tags as soon as I learn something! This is the thread from last year when I got the plant: http://www.orchidboard.com/community...ft-friend.html |
i once had a lc ''daffodil

A very nice gift!

Hi pheli :)
The plant is in an 8 inch pot and is about 15 inches tall at it's highest point... |
Thanks for your picture, Susanne.

Sue, I like this one alot. Congrats. Nothing beat reliable bloomers. Only one thing more frustrating than a plant that won't bloom, that is an animal that wont eat.
