OK I have not been on here in a long while and the room has been improved quite a bit this year for the winter season indoors .... all walls painted with drylock waterproof basement sealer and the floor as well a new shelf all the way down one wall and a shelf above it to serve as a place to put supplies as well as act as a reflector and place to mount the lights .... the lights I started building myself last winter from off the shelf parts at home depo that are incredibly nice and do a wonderfull job and supply intense light to the entire room ....
like I said I need to do another clean up but Im repotting this week so its going to get worse before I done ..... LOL
the lights by the way are a total of 130 watts per pair and cost $63 to build bulbs are each 65 watts and cost $13 each ,the ballast is electronic and will run anything from 2 38 watt bulbs to 2 96 watt bulbs and are high output as well I use the flat 65 watt tubes that are used in the fixtures for outside flood lights and just wire them up myself .... at the moment Im running four sets of them and two 65 watt warm white cfls at the ends for a bit of balance .... a couple of chids just finishing the bloom from outside and many many spiking now after coming inside and the winter routine of watering and fertilizing begun .... the shelf along the long wall is just 2 foot wide so I can reach everything with ease....
