In Brooklyn plenty of places. Maybe not the supermarket but where they sell sugar cane etc etc

Stefpix is right, you are more likely to find green coconuts or those in the husk in ethnic areas, like Chinatowns or Central American neighborhoods especially.

Aries, where are you located?
coconuts are common. Essex street market in Manhattan. Church, Nostrand, Rogers avenues in Brooklyn. I would look more into the Dominican, Puertorican, Jamaican, Haitian stores. Do not see as many fresh coconuts in Chinatown, although you find great tropical produce. |

Thanks again... |
Are you going to use the coconuts as orchids medium? I live in NYC, but haven't seen coconuts with the peel or husk. The peel or husk of coconuts are a little pain in the **s to seperate from the hard shell.

well I would have liked to see the coconuts but after untold countless minutes of downloading ads from your picture site is more than I could stand...22 ads total loaded up before I killed it...coconuts
