Are these flower spikes
 

These two plants have growths developing that I have not seen. Neither plant has flowered since I have had them. The second photo is some type of hybred cross cattleya.

They are new growths, but you can hope that they will flower when they are fully grown.

New growths. I would slowly up the amount of light they are getting too. Really dark green leaves tend to mean the plant is not getting enough sun. Lack of adequate light is the most common cause of non blooming plants. Just remember to do it slowly.

These growths are new pseudobulbs and may flower. I recently read that whether the bulb flowers, and how many flowers are determined when the shoot begins out of the rhizome from the conditions of culture such as light and nutrition...again, just reading, not growing long enough to really know. But I agree I would turn up the light and hope for a flower. I have grown lots of non-flowering pseudobulbs unfortunately :(
If you have an ID on the plants I would look them up for the details on their culture.

Thank you ronaldhanko and isurus79. I have let other catts get to much sun and end up with burned leaves so maybe I am being too cautious. I live in cocoa Beach, Fl & have all my orchids(15 to 20) outside.
