Cymbidium Milton Carpenter 'Everglades Gold'
Great color and substance. Has warmth tolerance from Cym. ensifolium (no need for a chill to produce flowers).

want to know how to keep and care for it
Hi, I got the exactly the same plant you posted here. But I only have three flowers because the top buds dropped for some reason. Would you please tell me your experience with this milton carpenter? What should I do to make it happy and healthy?
Thank you in advance. |
Truthfully, this has not been an easy plant to grow. I've nearly killed it a couple of times when the pseudobulbs got some kind of rot. Right now, it's in a plastic pot with a bark mix and seems to be doing alright. It grows in the greenhouse with my Cattleyas and gets the same amount of light (50% full sun). It gets watered when nearly dry. I keep it because of the lovely, fragrant flowers. It's the only Cymbidium I have. Anyone else have experience with this plant?
