If you know any woman currently undergoing Chemo, please pass the word to her that there is a cleaning service that provides FREE housecleaning - 1 time per month for 4 months while she is in treatment.

All she has to do is sign up and have her doctor fax a note confirming the treatment. Cleaning for a Reason will have a participating maid service in her zip code area arrange for the service.

Please pass this information on to bless a woman going through Breast Cancer treatment. This organization serves the entire USA and currently has 547 partners to help these women. Thank you so much for that. Most of us will be affected by this terrible affliction -- if not from our having it (ourselves), then because of our Loved Ones suffering from it.

One in eight North American women have or will have breast cancer. In some regions of the world, the lifetime incidence rate is higher. Presently, about one percent of breast cancer cases diagnosed are of male breast cancer. The incidence rates have been increasing over time. As example, at the time of my early childhood, when my grandmother succumbed to breast cancer, the lifetime incidence rate for North American women was one in twenty women.

One in two men have or will have cancer of some type/s. Approximately one in three women have or will have cancer of some type/s.

Peninsula BioMedical, Inc. will send free one or two lymphedema alert bands to persons who have or are at risk of lymphedema. Lymphedema is a lifetime risk, and it is a very common consequence of cancer treatment. Any person at risk should wear some type of conspicuous alert device -- at least for all their medical appointments and procedures.
