Used Orchids for Sale??!
 

Not sure which forum category to post this in...

...but I just saw an interesting/funny ad on Craigslist for Used Orchids for Sale. An interior plant company finally had an epiphany and instead of throwing away 10-20 used (out-of-bloom) orchids per week they will be selling them for $.75 / each.

As far as I know there aren't any OB members in that area...but for those of you with any interior plant companies where you live, you might want to forward them that Craigslist ad and say..."This is a great idea!".

Craigslist ads are deleted after a week so I'll download a copy of the ad and post it online after it's deleted.

Thanks for pointing that out. I will have to keep my eyes open for deals like that around Ohio. Phals seem very popular in home decor these days. I am glad at least one company is trying to find them permanent homes.
