Companion Plants - Tilandsias

1 Attachment(s)
I have a small greenhouse, so I don't really want "companions" that take up much space. I've added a few Tilandsia species that stay very small. here is one that is in bloom now. Don't know the name, I'm afraid.

I have the very same Tillandsia, I had located the proper name about three years ago, but have since forgotten it. Awesome specimen though, must admit mine was much much smaller! Gorgeous though!!

Your Tillandsia looks like Tillandsia aeranthos...but I could be wrong.

I have the same one. I actually think its a hybrid.........Tillandsia aeranthos X T. tenuifolia

I just recently decided to give Tillandias a try. I bought a whole bunch of small specimens from airplants4u.com. I'm pretty sure I have the same one. Mine just finished blooming, but is much smaller than yours. It was actually free bonus plant that they sent me. It came labeled "Stricta Pink Bronze" here is a link to the picture http://www.airplants4u.com/files/Str..._Flowering.jpg Although I do agree with Paul, it also looks very much like the aeranthos x tenuifolia on the Rainfores Flora Inc. site.
