Den Burana Sundae?

Hi all!
I got this dendrobium last year as a pretty young plant. This is the first time it bloomed for me here. Super proud of it's progress. It's clearly a HEAVY bloomer! I'm not complaining... but it's a chore to keep it stable and from toppling over. The double spike is straining the cane to the max🥴. I believe the ID is Dendrobium Burana Sundae.. you folks might know better than I do. Thought I would share. 🙂

Happy growing.

That is wonderful!

Congratulations, you have certainly grown it extremely well.
To help stabilise it, try putting the plant pot inside a bigger pot with a rock on the opposite side to the blooms.

Dendrobium Sundae is also my very best blooming orchid of all of my 70 orchids. The blooms seem to last forever and it seems the plant is always in bloom, even in the extreme hot weather here in Chaiyaphum Thailand.

Your plant is beautiful and the color of the blooms is fantastic.

I have attached one recent (rear) picture of my plant with two spikes in bloom.

Congratulations.

Nice! With the high heat, your conditions must be similar to mine.

Do you also grow phalaenopsis? Have you gotten them to bloom even in extreme heat? I think it's holding mine back from growing spikes. I wonder...
