Does anyone recognize this?

Asking for someone else and I have no clue even where to begin.

I don't see a nectar spur so I don't think it's a Dendrobium. My next guess would be Eria.

:) looks like the bulb of an oncidium but the flowers are not the dancing ladies.

Thanks. After looking up Eria from a couple different sources I'm inclined to agree. I fact, Eria coronalis seems to be very close.
There is so much about these plants I just don't know. But I'm learning little by little.

That was my first thought. :)

I'd vote for Eria...

Louis_W 07-12-2022 11:37 PM

Ya I'm on team Eria! Props to Seca!

Leisesturm 07-12-2022 11:59 PM

When are the next tryouts for Team Eria?

Dusty Ol' Man 07-13-2022 09:18 AM

Thanks folks. I went through all of the Erias on IOSPE and couldn't find a match. The inquirer lives in the Indo-Myanmar region and acquired a species plant from the area. I found a few similar and that's as close as I got. Appreciate the direction.

Another genus to consider... Pholidota .
