See picture. Getting ready to repot this cattleya. Should I put the air roots in the media?

VERY carefully,,, those growing root tips are very fragile and the slightest bruise will make them stop growing. Ideal time to pot that plant was some months ago... Or leave it until the next rooting cycle. I have found that Catts do their best growing after they escape from the pot, which tells me that they would really rather not be in one.

It looks as though you have nice high humidity. I would not repot now. The risk of damaging those roots is too high. It should grow fine like this. Repot whenever the next set of roots is 1-2 millimeters long.
