Gongora that seems sunburnt

Hello, everyone. So this is a different plant with a seemingly different problem, which is why I decided to separate it. Recently I received an order from Ecuagenera. These plants all seemed healthy, although some had a little fungi on the soil/root system developped because of humidity (disclaimer: I made this order through a third party importer, so Ecuagenera can't be entirely held accountable for the state the plants arrived in).

This beautiful Gongora gratulabunda came with gorgeous, impecable leaves, but then I placed it in a rather warm room and one day or two I think it got sunlight through a sheer curtain. This curtain does have a few holes because of the decorative design, but I still believe it couldn't have gotten sunburnt because of that. I changed it to a cooler, well-lit with indirect light space, but say, today I saw new spots appearing:

This tiny spot you see right where my finger is didn't exist yesterday.

On the rightmost pseudobulb you can see a black vertical stripe. This one was there when the plant arrived, but it wasn't soft, mushy nor wet, so it didn't concern me. While browsing this page ( Orchid Diseases ), the most likely thing seems to be anthracnose (assuming it really isn't sunburn), but I want to ask the more knowing to play it safe. What do you think this might be?

Thanks in advance for all your comments,

Stan.

How are you watering? These are high-water orchids. If they get dry they die back from the leaf tips. You could also have sunburn spots.

That's probably it. Even though they like lots of water, I preferred not watering it for the first week upon arrival to avoid encouraging growth of the mold that was in the substrate (of course I put it in new, more water-retentive media). So then that's probably it, since as of today the spots haven't become bigger and it is well watered haha.

Thank you very much,

Stan.

Just here to update: it really seems to have been the watering. I have been vigilant on it and the "sunburn" has not progressed not even a dot. I also checked a picture of it when I got it and, seeing it now, the bulbs have really plumped up, not to mention the one that's currently growing is really bulking up and the new growth is also growing quickly and healthily.

Thank you :))
