C. lueddemanniana alba ?

I have a couple of C. lueddemanniana seedlings but this one beat the others to flower first! This one is... an alba, I think? It's lacking the yellow pigments as well as the anthocyanins. It's just green. I think it's still pretty though!

It just started to open yesterday and perhaps the yellows come in later.

Excellent colour -------- brings to mind some nice lime zest, or lime cheesecake, or lime ice-block. And with the white ----- lime and vanilla icecream! Wonderful!

Very nice flower and pic.

Looks alba to me. Any chance to get a photo of the anther cap?

I guess I should be more patient... the blooms are now turning white and a little bit of yellow is coming through the column. I was curious if "yellow" was enough to call it alba or if it had to be devoid of all colors to be a true alba. I know it's just semantics we impose but curious.

Alba means no pink/blue/red pigment.

Exactly. In unifoliates that usually shows up and white and yellow, while it usually shows up as white and green in bifoliates.

I assume you were looking for the 'wing-tipped' column that's supposedly a characteristic of C. lueddemanniana right? I don't know enough anther caps to make that distinction!
