Masdevallia

I grow mine in clay pellets. They get fed DynaGrow. Its under lights near the floor to stay cool.

OMG, you know it hadn't occured to me to measure the temp at floor level. . .DUH!

Congratulations!
I haven't been successful with Masdevillia so far - then one I had unluckily didn't survive.

Beautiful bloom. I have two I bought in bloom about a year and a half ago. I have growth, but no bloom. I'm keeping mine down in the daylight basement on a windowsill. It wasn't doing anything on the main floor.
Don't know what's going to come of it here at my end, but I do love your bloom! Thanks for sharing! :)

That is SO interesting!
What a big DUH for me!!! :duh:

Floor space might be the answer to some of my temperature "issues" ;)

Thanks
Love the Masdie too
