Apple Blossom 'Fantasy' Made a Liar Out of Me!
 

The 'Fantasy' clone of Jackfowliera (Iwanagara) Apple Blossom is one of my favorites, and the one I've had the longest out of several different individuals of this cross. Several times I've posted that while the fragrance is intense, with a single flower perfuming a whole room, it's not a very floriferous one, producing only 2 or 3 flowers per spike. Well, like the title says......

Beautiful! Sounds like I need to add "Fantasy" to my collection along with my Golden Elf and Kalei Pink. These are just great plants in all respects.

Definitely my favorite cross! I currently have 'Fantasy', 'NN', 'Hihimanu', 'Carmela', and an unnamed clone very similar to 'Fantasy' but with much darker flowers. They're all wonderfully fragrant. Fyi I did have a clone I got as a Better Gro bag baby that was named "C" or "CC" which had no fragrance whatsoever. I passed that one along.

Good to know those crosses are all fragrant. I can only find "woodlands" available online right now, which I have read has little to no fragrance.

It seems like some crosses are hit or miss on fragrance. My Golden Elf is very fragrant but I have read it is typically not.

If anyone has any leads as to where to find Iwan.'s let me know!

Beautiful! How long do they stay in flower for?

My Golden Elf was shipped in spike and repotted on arrival and still bloomed for about 8 weeks.

That's about right for mine. The first flower on my 'Fantasy' opened about 3 weeks ago and it's still perfect.

I got my 'Hihimanu' from Kawamoto's. They no longer list it but it wouldn't hurt to ask. 'Carmela' came from surprise surprise Carmela's, the dark flowered one from Sophie's, and 'NN' came from Machiela's. Also Waldorf had a bunch of 'NN' at last year's SEPOS show. I can't remember who I got 'Fantasy' from.
