Angraecum-sesquipedale New Side Growth
1 Attachment(s)
I acquired my first 2 Angraecum-sesquipedales about 2 years ago as a young plant in a 2.5" pot. They seemed to be growing well with Vanda conditions. About 2-3 months ago, the one in the picture stopped growing from the center and put out 2 side shoots. I have seen this in my other orchids, but not at such a young age. Any advice or suggestions are appreciated.

Suggestion: Don't worry be happy.
Advice: Unless there's evidence of crown rot, which should be cause for concern and would potentially spur the formation of keikis, then don't worry be happy. |
Thank You very much

allars, I have a number of Angs, and a largish A. Crestwood ((A. sesquipedale x A. eburneum) x A. sesquipedale) and I'm surprised that you grow yours like a vanda. What does that mean exactly?
I attached a pic of mine, which is grown in large bark and light conditions closer to a phal. My understanding is that Angs would not like vanda conditions, so I'm curious. EDIT: Oh, and mine has a keiki too. Carolyn |
