I've got only one paph in my bunch of orchids. It was in bud when I bought it (named, Raisin Pie) and stuck around for 2 1/2 months. I immediately repotted it and it immediately grew another bud that never bloomed for me....bud blast! I've now got it in s/h, so fingers crossed.

Thanks everyone. It really does know how to steal the show, sometimes it almost has a faint delenatii scent too.

I posted this picture because it captures the actual colour of the flower nearly perfectly. The sun was overhead when I took the picture, when a person has so many trees around it's hard to get a sunny spot. :lol:

I did find that a few of my paphs blasted this summer too for some reason, at the time I wrote it off to the fluctuating temps and drier air. Now things seem to be forming flower spikes again with the autumn weather. Paph. Recovery seems to be progressing along with a new spike, so hopefully...(two fingers crossed :D ).
