Default Coel. speciosa var. salmonicolor too big.....

Hi,

I would like to repot that plant in in 3 pots. Got it with 3 bulbs, now, after 7 years, they are approx. 25.
What would be the best way to have it in 3 parts, without damaging more than necessary?
The best mix for repotting? And afterwards?

By the way: Blooming the whole year through, first blooming, then the bulb. So you never wait anxiously for a spike. As long as the plant grows it flowers abundantely!! Some fragrance included!
But now the pot is simply too big!

Thanks a lot for your suggestions,
Tetra

it seems to me that you know exactly how to grow this plant well !
I would separate into thirds, ensuring that each piece has a good, solid root system. I split my coel. in 2 and it took a while, but is back on a "growths" path.

Default Not to kill...

My concern is not to kill the plant, because it is flowering
so well and I am not sure what will happen after repotting. They are hardly to buy, like a few other plants in my collection, in spite of blooming bold, easy to propagate and fast growing.
