These are beautiful! I was lucky enough to find a few home made orchid pots at garage sales, but yours are much nicer.

I am not sure what do you mean with "different shades"?
If you are wondering about pot on first picture, it is made by using 3 different clays. method is to put few thin layers of different clays one above the other (white, brown and teracotta) and mix it (not too much), and then slice vertically. result is 'marble' effect of different colours. for that it is important to use clays with the same shrinkage percentage.

Awesome pots. I especially like the few textured pots with patterns. The marbling method is cool too.
