tmoney, my Phal fasciata keiki (right) has th same growth pattern as yours! Mine looks like looks like a clump of 3 closely spaced keikis that share roots, though with the paper label still on it it's hard to see how they are connected. I'm guessing that our keikis come from the same mother plant. (I know you also participated in the group order!). I can also take a photo of my now potted keiki in daylight tomorrow.

In case you are curious the keiki on the left is Phal lueddemanniana f. ochracea.

ah, now that you post that camille, i forgot i have a “maybe” better pic of it. here is the order when we got it and the next morning after a kelpmax soak. as usual i am regretting not getting more!

id say we got the luck of the draw with the fasciata. the little tiny one is also fasciata, so i think he did a good job in making it fair! the fuscata on the far left actually had all growing tips on the roots and was pushing more basil roots, so i had no worries potting that one up right away. the little tiny fasciata is in a small cork mount in the wardian case

i do see that yours has at least one root showing growth, so that brings me hope!

Gosh they look glossy and happy. My Keikis never look that glossy. Something to aspire to. Nice work.

I can't take any credit for how they look! Four of us EU OB members (that I know of) did a sort of group order from a guy in Germany who is a Phal specialist and has all sorts of uncommon and rare Phal species or forms of them. I also got a Phal kapuasensis seedling from him, the species is recently discovered and not much is known about culture...

But speaking of glossy, before recieving this order I treated all my orchids with an horticultural oil (contains canola oil qnd pyrethrins) to deal with my mealy bug problem, and one side effect of the treatment is that all my plants are supper shiny now!

Don't count on it; it's related to gigantea and doweryensis, those don't do keikis!

I could ask for you if there are seedlings still available if you're interested.
