When to Repot Dendrobiums
Smile When to Repot Dendrobiums

I have several dendrobiums that are ready to be repotted. I live in an apartment in NYC. The plants are on a growing table under T5 bulbs and next to a window that gives them some additional light. Is this a good time, (late December), to repot them?

I repot right after they finish blooming.

Or when you first start to see new growth.

Just gonna add that as a fellow NYC apartment dweller, my orchids are confused about what season it is; the cool, damp autumn shoulder season induced a bunch of spikes, but now that the heat is on, everyone thinks it's summer again! So like everyone else has said, going off the cues individual plans give is more definitely more reliable than going off seasons.
