Never seen it, but I usually cut the spike after the flower is done. I didn't know this one can be sequential! I will leave the stem this time! |

Unpot, check the roots.
Also, are you keeping it too hot, or too dry? Do you see any disease issues on the leaves?

Lovely. Mine has 2 large spikes so hope to have blooms soon too.
cbuchman, they do seem to shed leaves when u-happy. As Tindomul suggested, they don't like excess heat or drying out too much. Mine seems to grow roots easily and not be fussy in the root zone, but I would check that.
