Bubbles the betta

Our first betta fish and we are in love.
The little guy is kinda of a bully, but really smart and surprisingly full of personality and interactive 😁

Anyone else here keeps bettas?

Very nice! I have had bettas in the past but my specialty was gouramis.

Highly aggressive species...don't mix it with smaller (or the same size) fishes neither with another of the same species (one will kill the other).

That one is nice and active. Nice colour as well. I haven't had this sort of fish before as pets due to their fighting nature. I once kept tropical fish such as guppies, red platy, black molly, neon tetra, angel fish (tropical type), and goldfish. But maintaining the environment for keeping them healthy requires adequate experience plus time/effort too. I haven't got adequate time these days, so currently not keeping fish as pets. Very nice activity though. In the future, I will most likely get back into this area again.
