Acidovorax or pseudomonas commonly called bacterial brown spot. Very common in phals. Please read St. Augustine Orchid Society - North Florida Orchid Growing for more info.

You can often find home grown spikes are shorter or have less flowers than those they are bought with. Unless you can get the nice perfect conditions of the nursery you are unlikely to get as many as the original ones.

The mitten shape on the end may grow again, but may not. Sometimes they do, but not always
