Default Epidendrum Stanforme. leaves becoming yellow.

Okay I have been under the impression that epidendrum do not go into winter rest?

1. I did almost kill it when I first got it in August. My moms great nephew switched tags around and I got confused slightly.

2. I have put it in a garden soil (plain/no ferilizer/lava rock/perlite added) to help make sure there is no impaction.

3. I have had it in my little greenhouse where it gets very decent humidity (by Texas standards! Haha) with my oncidium medium light good air flow...

4. I did have to move it due to sun direction change. Causing some leaf burn. I am seeing some new root growth coming in.

Could this be leaf burn?
