Hi all,

my Renanthopsis Mildred Jameson has been doing strange things lately:

What do you think of it? The plant never has been sprayed, and it is at the warmest, brightest position on a window sill facing south. The newest leaf shows only faint markings. The roots are doing fine. Thanks for your opinions!

The top picture looks like sun burn , If it gets mushy it might be a rot of some type , but my guess is sunburn =heat . If it is the areas will dry up . Gin

Hi Helli
I'd move it into a spot with a little less light.
I'm not sure those will recover (I may be wrong ) but at least any new leaves won't get burned.

I've got a phal doing the same thing - Blah!
In my case it never got sunburned or over heated.

I think it's bacterial, it's just getting worse. Down here, there's really nothing available to treat this, I hope your able to find something and spray it down.
