Brown spots on leaves and failure to thrive

Can anyone tell me what is wrong with these two mini orchids? I have had them since last winter and while they aren't dead, they don't appear to be doing much and one has brown spots on the leaves. It arrived in the mail wired to a piece of fiber and it is a mini orchid, quite small, maybe two in. tall.

The 1st thing that comes to mind is ferilizer burn and this can burn roots and cause plants not to grow. The other is sunburn. So not knowing your growing conditions, it is hard to say for certain...also, better focused pics would be helpful
