I bought some of the thericide bt from Ray for the catapilliars, oh yea the other day I found two of the three inch green catapilliars that have little horns , they were on one of my fig bushes. Never know but they havent been in the house where that new orchid is besides most of those hunks were in those leaves when I recieved them the other day.

It sure looks to me as though Es was mostly right? Just my two cents.

That looks like previous damage from scale. If there are a lot at the edge of a leaf they can leave an indentation like that. Molluscs and biting insects leave ragged holes. You will also need to watch out for grasshoppers, katydids, crickets and cockroaches if you have them outside.
