I think bring it in once nights get below about 55 deg F. This is a relatively warm-growing species, though habitat info indicates that it could grow a bit cooler... so I'd say "true intermediate" ... If Andy was growing it in his intermediate greenhouse (I'm just guessing, but fairly likely) it had the possibility of good bright but filtered light. Also rather high humidity. The nursery really doesn't have many areas with direct sun, even the L. anceps area only gets full sun for part of the day. (I learned that the hard way... I had a plant with an Andy tag that indicated "Full sun" and it toasted in my yard... but in summer my yard is unremittingly bright from early morning to late afternoon...Andy's nursery has large, mature trees that give even brightest areas some shading during part of the day. ) So "full sun " at Andy's is a lot less sun than "full sun" at my house.

Really great conversation - thank you everyone! I started moving it away from the rest of my orchids while I water just in case any kind of splashing caused the issue. I'll see if that helps at all and then continue investigating all the other variables mentioned. Hoping for the best!
