Default Catasetum leaf discoloration - bugs, virus?
The new growth on this Catasetum pileatum looks suspicious. It's showing weird, non sectorial discolorations that make me worry about a disease.

Some small bugs and mites were also attracted by the sap the plant releases, and there's some damage barely visible.

Any thoughts?







Bumps caused by insects (I guess)

Check for spider mites first. They are always a problem with Catasetinae. I spray mine with 70% alcohol prophylactically.
