kilbury greenhouse heater
Might anyone know the location of a kilbury heater. It was made in CA until it was flooded out of business in about 1972. They are a
50, 000 btu unit that has elect ignition and thermastat controls. I found one in Texas, new in the box about a month ago. Had to replace my unit. I had two of them and over the last 50 years I kept exchanging parts until there were none left to swap. Found one but if I can find another, that should last me for the rest of my life, unless I am related to mathusalum. Ha!! Orchid breeders stick around longer just to see what their next cross looks like.

After installation, I realized the heater has a pilot light not ignition.
So if that kept you from contacting me, feel free to do so, I need parts!!!!!

kilbury greenhouse heater
Yes and ebay and a couple of other sites I can't remember. I only wish that they would take down the ones that no longer are active. You get hope up when you find one and then it turns out to be nothing, old, sold or whatever. I did find one in Texas, still in its box!, got it. What I am trying to get is another, working or not, to get the parts to rebuild one of the two old ones that I have. For 40 years I have swapped pieces between these two to keep a heater running, just ran out of tradeable parts. Had to use my old 3 burner frickers heater this last winter, it works ok but not being on a thermostat and having to n at night off in the morning, unless you think in will be too cold. Really becomes a pain. Take care and thanks
