Default spiranthes species

Hi Guys,
These are the images of our hebenaria species ,have posted two images one from its location, the other one is of the entire plant with flower spike.
veekay

This is a ground orchid grows on leaf litter and it is
hebenaria species

Cool pics, thanks for sharing them. I got curious about this species because it looks so different from any of the Spiranthes species I'm knowledgeable, but there's practically no information online about it.

The closest I could find is Spiranthes acaulis, which is an old synonym for Sarcoglottis acaulis, but none of the photos online look like your plant.

Doesn't look like any spiranthes I've seen either..spiranthes that I know have no evident leaves on the spike, leaves are basal.

I was thinking it looked like a Platanthera sp. or close relative.

Definately not Spiranthes. Flowers would be in a very noticeable spiral pattern.

Have you tried looking here:
Trinidad and Tobago Orchid Society - Database
