Thanks everyone for your nice comments. The Paph and Phrag are going to a show this weekend so I hope they'll do well.

Louder - For picture taking I have a piece of black and a piece of pale blue light cardboard (here we call it poster board or art board) and I just prop one of them behind the plant. The colour of the background will vary depending on the amount of light but it's an inexpensive way to do it!

Hi Shirley, They are very nice. Good luck at the show!
Do you happen to know the cross of the Paper Tiger ? It's absolutely beautiful.

Bill, Paph. Yellow Tiger is Paphiopedilum platyphyllum x Paphiopedilum glanduliferum.

Bill and Terri, Hmmm, that's interesting! My Yellow Tiger says praestans X stonei! Where did your info come from, Terri?

Ah! Fun with names. My info came from OrchidWiz. praestans = glanduliferum, and stoneii = platyphyllum

These orchid names drive me up the wall!! Well I have praestans x stoneii memorized so I guess I'll stay with that. Can't teach an old dog new tricks!
Thanks, Terri.
