My Cyrtochilum Macranthum is not so big... I saw one with a spike of 4 m and 60 flowers... I have also the Cyrtochilum Cumandae.... its similar but in brown... my flowers are 8 - 9 cm...
What do you mean with ruffling???

What do you mean with ruffling???
I don't know if ruffles is the right word, but I meant that the edge of the sepals are not straight, they are wavy. I think that's neat.

HEre can you see better the flower ... it has a triangle and a strange white dove in the center.... do you see it???? Enjoy this beautifull specie...

Wow! That is a much clearer shot and the flowers look amazing. How large (or small) are the flowers?

Default THE SIZE

The flowers are 8 - 10 cm and the spike has 40 - 50 cm with +/- 20 flowers.... in this case my plant has 2 spikes...
I saw an old plant that has a spike of 4 m and lots and lots of beautifull yellows flowers....
Do you see the white dove????
