Default In bloom: Paphiopedilum lawrenceanum

Too bad, it's curled. Does anyone know why and how to prevent that next time.
It was it's first flower.

The lateral petals? Some are like that. It may change with future flowerings.

Yes, the lateral petals. If I compare with pictures online (if their ID is correct) lawrenceanum should have them "straight".

I hope it changes in the future, although to me this is a beautiful flower despite it looking a bit weird.
