What ever happened to....

that nice Cischweinfia rostrata?

Well, after putting it into my orchidarium, where they climate was not yet suitable for life, large sections of it died, but two sections with multiple psuedobulbs each have made it, and both have produced new growths. And today - blooms! A sign of recovery... Still not looking great though as you can see in the second picture. The flowers are absolutely adorable though. In person they are way more vivid, and much greener.

I don't want to talk about the Cirrhopetalum (Bulbophyllum) biflorum (Java). Yet. It lives!!!! Most of it died, and I nearly gave in an put it in the trash, but I remounted it last winter and it has been putting out new growths. I wouldn't say it looks great though... Hopefully one day I can post a bloom pic.
