Greater Akron Orchid Society Show, Ohio

The Greater Akron Orchid Society is hosting an Orchid Show this Saturday and Sunday, March 7-8, 2015.

Where:
Donzell's Flower and Garden Center, 937 East Waterloo Road, Akron OH 44306.
When:
Saturday, March 7 from 10:00am to 5:00pm
Sunday, March 8, from 11:00am to 4:00pm
What:
There will be judging, displays, vendors and all the fun of an orchid show! There will be Orchid Society members to answer any questions you may have.
Cost:
Both parking and admittance is completely free.

I wish that were just a bit closer. Lansing is about as far as I'll drive for an orchid show at this time of year. Maybe I'll put this on my annual calendar, so I can watch for it next year.

What are you hoping to get at the show?

I never quite know what the vendors bring and since I am out of space for more orchids (especially since I need to bring the Pleione bulbs out of the refrigerator this week), I try not to even think of buying more orchids. Of course, I usually end up failing to resist temptation. :|

I just came home from our show and I ended up with two orchids...Blc. Your Mine 'NIJ' and Angraecum elephantinum. Not bad!
