I would have thought they might have mentioned FUTURE treatment of plants you would consider to lend for displays. Evidently, I would assume... since they did not and since you also expressed specifically in your note that you had concern for this... that there will be no adjustment or change in how things run. Consequently, I would not lend plants anymore unless you were there to watch over them.
I know this was your intent for the future. My advices is then not to waver from your decision

Sorry to hear about your negative experiences with loaning your plants to a show.
I have had some very bad ones myself that more or less added to the reasons not to lend plants.
I cant forget one year at the pier show in NYC, a "photographer" knocked over a small pot with a colony of Pterosylis curta.
They were shoved back and stuck back on display!
Needless to say I lost them soon thereafter.
But the real doozie is the time I lent a collection of antique prints and books to the NY Orchid show.
A 1765 colored engraving of Vanilla slipped off center from its mount, and was (ready?) spray glued on the same mount.!I almost passed out, and spent weeks restoring the print.
The moral of the story is- other people do not have the same appreciation or love for your plants or things,so its best to assume the worst, and take care that it does not happen.
