Laura visited for lunch today and we couldn't stop talking about our trip to the Grand Opening of June's Orchid Estate
...poor hubby felt the need to leave for a while

After thinking about what to bring for lunch, I realized there are going to be refreshments at the grand opening...we'll save the lunch date for another day

A few months ago, I was lucky enough to be among aa group of TOC members who met at June's house...and all of our jaws dropped when we walked into the place!
Right in front of us was the huge wardian case that everybody who was at the WOC last year will remember! Yup, right there!

I'll just say now that it was at this moment that I decided I needed to get June to someday adopt me

Ok, back to the big treat:

I realize that most of us here at OB are very visual folks and we all know that none of us can resist a fantastic picture so I asked June if I could share with you some of the I took that day.
I think it will give everybody just a slight indication of what the 16,000 sq ft of new greenhouses...and the huge species TREE!!!...at the new place will look like...enjoy
