Oncidium Twinkle in Bloom! - Orchid Board

This is my Oncidium Twinkle. There are 2 spikes blooming, and about 12(!) more currently growing. It smells very sweet, kind of like honey.

Wow, it's so gorgeous!

The smell is really going to fill the room when it is totally in bloom. Have you had this plant a long time for it to be producing so many spikes?

I've had this for just a couple weeks. I bought it at the Platinum Coast Orchid Show in Cocoa, FL. I didn't realize it had so many spikes until I got it home and examined the plant! It was a very nice surprise

mine is about to bloom as well. I had a small blooming about 3 months ago. This will be larger but not as many as when I purchase it at the NCOS show in Wash.DC last October. The plant reminds me that I've been at this for a year.
