Default Miltoniopsis Black Spots

Hi Folks,
I have a Miltoniopisis that has a number of black spots on it, about an 1/8" in didameter, otherwise it seems to be doing fine. I'd post a picture but this is my first post so I'm not allowed.

It's living under LED's, at about 50% humidity, and temps of 60-70.

Thanks ahead for any input.

Welcome to the Orchid Board!

These require cool temperatures, high humidity, pure water, lots of light and plenty of air movement. They need to stay always very moist. What is the mineral content of your water? Are you letting it dry out? If those things are good the spots might be from the humidity being a little low.

Thanks, that's helpful. I'm guessing the Miltoniopsis deosn't like water with a high mineral content?

Correct. Try using distilled, reverse osmosis, rain or melted clean snow.
